Brinell Hardness Testers

Brinell hardness testers are used to determine the hardness of metals. 

The Brinell hardness tester achieves this by applying a constant load or force, typically 187.5 to 3000 kgf (kilogram-force), for 10 to 30 seconds. This test typically uses a 2.5 or 10mm diameter tungsten carbide ball.
